Frequently asked questions
Who can submit work to oeuvre?
Any independent artist making original, physical work. We're not looking for a specific style or medium — we're looking for intention. If you're serious about what you make, we want to see it.
How does the submission process work?
You submit photos and details about your work through the artist submission form. We review every submission and follow up directly.
How do you decide what gets listed?
We're looking for a quality of intention, not a particular aesthetic. Work that has a clear point of view, that took real effort, that couldn't have been mass-produced — that's what we're after.
Do I set my own prices?
Yes. Artists set their own prices. We don't negotiate them down or take a cut that makes it not worth your while. Our commission is 12%, one of the lowest in the space.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
What's your return policy?
All sales are final. You're buying original art directly from an independent artist, not a retail product. We encourage you to look closely at the photos and reach out with any questions before purchasing.
Can I ask the artist a question about a piece?
Yes. If you want to know more about a work before buying — materials, dimensions, the story behind it — contact us and we'll connect you.
What if something arrives damaged?
Document it immediately with photos and contact us. We'll work with you and the artist to figure out a resolution.
